Your life of Yoga

with Tapas

Being active on yoga mat has been shown to have many health benefits, physically mentally and emotionally, Yoga Stretching is one of the most beneficial exercises for every one because yoga promotes full range of motion and allows you to continue enjoying every day activities. It can lower your risk of many diseases, including heart disease, diabetes, obesity, and osteoporosis. With improving overall fitness and metabolic health, not just weight loss while promoting good health and quality of life. And we can ensure it will be safe and effective. In yogic postures  It is possible to lose body fat without losing much weight on the scale Even if you don’t lose “weight,” you may still be losing fat and building muscle instead. For this reason, it can be helpful to measure your waist size and body fat percentage from time to time. The scale doesn’t tell the whole story.

The breathe is one of the most important aspects of Yoga, Breathing regulates our state of mind, emotions, concentration and our sleeping patterns, Breathing is a basic human function, but not everyone breathe effectively, Most of us breathe without using the full capacity of the lungs, shallow breathing one of them, this breathing pattern is very stressful for the body and lead to a shortage of oxygen in our nervous system, slow the heart rate and easing anxiety.

So how we can breathe properly

To breathe properly, we need to use our diaphragm, our diaphragm is the muscle beneath our lungs, so when we breathe in, our lungs fill up with air pushing the diaphragm down, which in turn makes the abdomen push out. During exhalation, the abdomen retreats in automatically. If you’re breathing properly, you can feel your diaphragm pushing down into your abdomen, To be sure we breathe correctly, and we can divide the breath into three main parts; lower abdomen, upper abdomen, and the lungs.

When we inhale, push out the lower abdomen, then the upper abdomen, and completely fill up the lungs with air. When we exhale, push the air slowly out of the lungs followed by taking upper abdomen, and the lower abdomen in.

We are overwhelmed every day, our lifestyle changed dramatically allowing stress to reach each corner of our life, we don’t relax nearly enough. And when we do, it’s often plagued with external problems,

For sure everyone would like to reach a state of complete relaxation. which opens the gate to the inner resources, Relaxed people think more clearly and creatively, feel better mentally, physically and emotionally, to be relaxed means being free of excess tension, a state of physical and mental efficiency.  To cope with emotional issues, leading to more energy and better overall health, helping us to get the proper sleep and improving our concentration.

So how can we achieve the state of complete relaxation?

we need to activate the body’s natural relaxation response, by practicing Yoga relaxation techniques such as deep breathing, meditation, rhythmic yoga exercise, and most important SAVASANA (corpse pose), Fitting these activities into our life can help reduce everyday stress, Those techniques increase awareness of our own bodies and thoughts, which often results in a sense of self-assurance and peace, as well as an ability to calm ourselves in the stressful situations There is no single relaxation technique that fits for everyone. The right relaxation technique is the one that incorporates with us, fits our lifestyle, and improves the focus of our mind to interrupt our everyday thoughts to trigger the relaxation response. The art of relaxation is harder than it looks. It doesn’t happen on demand: You can’t just say, “OK, I’m going to relax, right now!” That’s why yoga Savasana is such a gift. The pose sets up the conditions that allow you to gradually enter a truly relaxed mind and body.

A balanced diet provides our body all the essential nutrients, vitamins and minerals to maintain healthy body weight and to supply sufficient energy to cells, tissues and organs to function properly, gives a feeling of well-being and promotes good sleep eventually keeping our body in optimum condition.

To Balance our diet we need to combine a different types of foods, it is important to have three meals a day and not to skip breakfast –  our body will get all the nutrients to maintain a healthy weight, through having the right portion of protein, carbs and fats, so Each meal should be composed a variety of foods from each food group and portion sizes should be moderated to control calorie intake.

Our thinking has a major impact on everything we do, We transmit the way we think to our work and our relationships, Positive thinking leads to positive feelings like happiness, pleasure and contentment, opens to new challenges, boosts our energy, and it is needless to mention we feel better about our self and people in our life.

Positive thinking is the process of creating thoughts that transform energy into reality. A positive mind waits for happiness, health and a happy ending in any situation, whatever we are waiting for peace of mind, contentment and grace will surely come to us, but only when we are ready to receive it with a positive mind and grateful heart. Yoga enhances the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual qualities in a simple, practical manner in order to feel more positive.

When we believe in our self, we are showing great self-worth and care. Try not to get scared by the fear of failing or not reaching to the goals and know that even if we do make a mistake, we can try again.

Believe that we will achieve our goals and we are one step closer to doing so. Remember that any mistake we make is just a lesson to learn from.
